Candidate Seminar!
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Many of you have been praying for us and God’s direction in our lives for many years. We are so grateful to God for every one of those prayers. This year has been crazy for all of us. We did not know what God would have in store, but God opened the doors for us to go to candidate seminar this past week with BMM and we are so incredibly blessed to have gone. God’s plans are always better than ours!
Phil 1:4-7
I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, … For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.
If there is one thing we would like to convey in this first of many communications, it is this: We thank God for you. It was an emotional time to be officially appointed as missionaries to the UK. This is many years in the making and there is no way we would have gotten to this point if it was not for all of your support. You have prayed with us, cried with us, laughed with us, and encouraged us in ways you probably don’t realize. And like Paul, we not only thank you, but we thank God for you. In other words, we are trying to see you all as not just the givers, but the gift itself. God is so good!
Candidate Seminar was great. It wouldn’t be exaggerating to say we felt a strong connection with every person we met during our time at BMM. We learned a lot, had a lot of fun, and were inspired to move forward in our ministry, both in preparation for the UK and on our current mission field right now in Winston Salem. We are excited to begin this next chapter. While we will not be in the full swing of deputation for a while, we wanted to make sure we took this time to communicate our gratefulness for all of you who have been so supportive for so long.

Prayer Requests:
We are expecting our 3rd child in October! Please pray for Autumn and the baby’s safety.
Lincoln will be in Kindergarten and Oliver will be in Pre-School this fall. We will be starting with distance learning, but they will be starting in school right around the time the baby is born. Please pray that all goes well there!
Please pray for us as we take steps towards ministry in the UK. Pray that God will open and close doors, give us wisdom, and especially grant us grace and patience!

Autumn’s pregnancy has gone really well so far. Baby is healthy and she has not had any real issues.
Tim’s Job changed recently and requires less “work away from work” which is a blessing.
